Top 5 UK products

I've been home a while now, so I thought it was about time to let you guys in on a few amazing products I picked up while I was overseas. Some of these are easy to get here (even if they're a fair bit more expensive) but others will be more tricky.
Also, a sneak peak of one of the Ulta3 speckle polishes!

Rimmel Apocalips - Nova and Across the Universe
These were something I got just before we left, and I'm glad I did. They're lovely colours! I have 2 other shades - Luna and Galaxy, but I've kind of stopped using them. The new shades I've picked up are much more vibrant colours. Nova is a light pink, and Across the Universe is a dark red. You can get Nova here, but Across the Universe was only just release when I left England. It'll be perfect for

MUA Colour Blast Eyeshadow tint - Bring it Back
This is SUCH a good eyeshadow base! It's so easy to apply, easy to blend, and once you put shadow over it, it's not going anywhere! By itself I'll admit that it's pretty awful, it fades away within a couple of hours, but it turns to gold when you pop some shadow on it. For £3, it's an excellent product!

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - Fair
While I was away I misplaced my Maybelline dream lumi touch concealer and it was tough to decide what concealer to pick up. I was a bit worried about this one, I only use concealer under my eyes and thought this one might be a bit thick, and I was tossing between a few different ones. I'm so glad I chose this, because it does work perfectly under your eyes, especially if you warm it up between your fingers first.

Sleek Blush by 3 - Lace
I'm mostly chuffed by the huge mirror in this palette. It's so great for when you're traveling! Apart from that, the shades are beautiful, and they're easy to blend. I'm bummed I didn't pick up more while I was there, especially Pink Lemonade! See my review of this blush here.

MUA One Direction Kiss You Lipsticks - Moments, Rock Me, I Want, I Wish
This range! So good! I kinda like One Direction, and snapped this up in a second. All the lipsticks are fantastic colour, and apply creamy and pigmented. Rock Me, the lavender, is definitely my favourite of the lot. Not bad for £3 ($5ish) See my review here.

Swatches!
1. Apocalips - Nova and Across the Universe  2. MUA - Bring it Back   3. Collection - Fair
4. Sleek Blush by 3
5. MUA Top - I wish, Rock Me  Bottom - I want, Moments.

It was hard to chose. Seriously hard. So I'd like to give special mentions to Urban Decay Naked 3 (I wasn't going to add it because obviously it was my favourite), Maybelline Baby Lips - Pink Punch (Such a nice colour, our babylips have nothing on these! And it smells good. It would have made the list if I hadn't lost it!) and Rimmel Scandaleyes Lycra Flex (I absolutely hated this when I first got it. I only realised it was fantastic after I got home, after I had sent it home before I left the UK!)

Sleek Vintage Romance i-Divine palette

I've been meaning to blog about this palette for a while now, but I've been lazy. Sleek is a brand I was excited about trying when I got to the UK, and it took me a while to decided which i-Divine palette I wanted. But when I saw the Vintage Romance palette, that was the one I was getting. It's the perfect winter palette, full of dark pinks, purples and gold. The colours are also named after cities in Europe, 7 of which I'll be traveling to very soon!!
I love the matte black casing of sleek products, they're so sturdy and have a big mirror inside. Don't use an alcohol wipe to clean the outside of the palette though, because the sleek logo will come off. It comes with a double end foam applicator, which found it's way to the bin soon after I opened it.
The 12 shades are mostly shimmer and glitter shades, with one matte shade. They're mostly very pigmented (with the exception of Vow in Venice and Propose in Prague, but you can work with them easily enough), and are lovely and soft and easy to blend.

The 12 shades are:
Pretty in Paris - light silver shimmer
Meet in Madrid - gold shimmer
Court in Cannes - cool bronze shimmer
Lust in LA - bronze shimmer with green tones
Romance in Rome - navy blue shimmer
Propose in Prague - reddy copper matte
A Vow in Venice - dark mauve shimmer,
Marry in Monte Carlo - bright reddy purple glitter
Honeymoon in Hollywood - dark reddy purple with a slight shimmer
Bliss in Barcelona - dark bluey purple shimmer
Forever in Florence- very dark purple with silver glitter
Love in London- matte black with silver glitter.

Top:Pretty in Paris, Meet in Madrid, Court in Cannes
Bottom: Vow in Venice, Marry in Montecarlo, Bliss in Barcelona

Top: Lust in LA, Romance in Rome, Propose in Prague
Bottom: Bliss in Barcelona, Forever in Florence, Love in London

I found I get the most use out of the 3 shadows in the bottom left of the palette (Vow in Venice, Marry in Montecarlo and Bliss in Barcelona). They're prefect for autumn and winter, and go well with MAC Cranberry and MUA shade 25. Meet in Madrid and Court in Cannes are also really lovely neutral shades.

After using this palette I will definitely be getting my hands on another sleek palette in the near future. This palette is a limited edition, but you can still find it online from a number of websites.

Wish list: UK

I'm starting to get really excited about heading over to the UK! I've also started thinking about all the wonderful products they have over there that we can't get in shops here. Sure, I could probably get all of these products over the internet, but it's just not the same as going into a store to buy them!
UK wish list

1. Rimmel Apocalips range
2. MUA Undress your Skin Range (clockwise from top) Foundation, Under Eye Concealer, Highlighter, Primer
3. Rimmel Lycra Pro Matte Finish Top Coat          4. Sleek Blush by 3 in Lace
5. Look Beauty lipliners in Tangerine (top) and Rock Candy (bottom)

Rimmel's Apocalips range is probably what I'm most excited about getting my hands on! These have been hyped up so much and it doesn't look like we'll be getting them in Australia anytime soon! I love the look of Big Bang and Luna and I'm guessing they might end up being the first things I buy when I get to London (apart from booze from duty free, of course)
The Undress your Skin range are MUA's most recent product releases, and are base products similar to the Bourjois healthy mix and Rimmel's Wake me up ranges. I'd love to give these a try, especially considering the great quality of MUA products. I'm especially interested in the highlighter (although, I'm considering getting a MAC mineralise skin finish highlighter somewhere along my trip to travels - hello duty free).
I didn't actually know Rimmel made a matte top coat, and as I said in my last wish list, I really want to get one! I don't think I'll buy the Essie one before I leave so I'll probably end up picking this up.
Sleek is a brand I've been wanting to try for a while but haven't because I don't want to pay for shipping. This blush by 3 palette has a lovely selection of shades, with the middle one being my favourite (which is the same as their Rose Gold single bush, apparently a dupe for Nars Orgasm!)
Look beauty is another brand I haven't yet tried because I don't want to pay for shipping. I don't actually have any lip liners other than one red Rimmel one in my collection, and now my lipstick collection is growing I should probably get a few more colours. Tangerine is a lovely orange and Rock Candy a nice bright pink. They also have matching lipsticks, which I'll probably end up buying too :p
